Norton Theatre Groups version of The Magnificent Seven Knights of Camelot has come to an end. A couple of rewrites and scene alterations and the panto was a huge success. Packed with modern, not so modern, and some down right ancient jokes, it had the audiences laughing from start to finish and the cast and crew loving every minute of it.
I love working with NTG. They are such nice people and every year they amaze me with their vocal talents, comic timing and professionalism. They did my script proud.
The script The Magnificent Seven Knights of Camelot is now available for other theatre groups to use. Check out my pricing page for info. If you would like a perusal copy of this script, please get in touch.
Terrific opening night last night. Huge congrats to the cast who did a magnificent job. It was wonderful seeing so many people enjoying the show, laughing in all the right places and being amused by the crazy situations (imagine a one armed, one legged knight singing and dancing with a traditional panto dame … not something that you see everyday).
It’s been a hard slog getting the script right, programing the lighting and many sound effects, promoting and preparing for the show, but last night made it all worth it. Norton have a wonderful cast with great voices, impeccable comic timing and a true love of what they are doing. It’s a pleasure to work with them.
There is one more show tonight (limited seats left) and then two shows tomorrow (some seats still available) and then I’ll have to start writing next years script.

Are you part of a theatre group thinking about next seasons Pantomime? Are you looking for a script that’s funny, full of great dialog, one liners and opportunities for crazy slap stick? Are you looking for a scriptwriter than can adapt a script to fit your needs? Do you have a script that needs updating with modern jokes, local twists or editing in any way.
I would love to help. I have a selection of scripts available, from the traditional stories of Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, Peter Pan, Jack and the Beanstalk and Aladdin, to slightly obscure ones such as Robin Hood and Camelot. Each one has been tried and tested and performed by a local amateur theatre company and is full of fun, bad jokes and action.
Get in touch is I can help in anyway. I would love to work with you.
Only a few weeks until the stage goes up and the scripts go down. for Norton Theatre Group’s production of Camelot. Rehearsals are going fabulously well, and it looks like it’s going to be another hilarious production, partly due to the wonderfully funny script (even though I do say so myself) , but mainly down to the hugely talented cast they have this year. Tickets are on sale now.
I published this little booklet / sample (not really sure what to call it ) of short scripts on Kindle a while back, purely to see how it was done. I didn’t imagine I would sell any but low and behold I have sold … some … not many … just a few … but enough to keep me in coffee for a few hours. Continue reading
